JACKSON, MI– Police arrested a chauffeur last night thought of driving under the impact and crashing into a medical professional's workplace, reports MLIVE's Andrew Mullin.
The crash occurred at about 2:30 a.m., June 13 near Fourth Street and West Michigan Avenue stated Jackson Police Sgt. Jason Ganzhorn.
Ganzhorn said the suspect was going northbound on Fourth Street, did not stop at the stop sign and drove throughout Michigan Avenue. The suspect then crashed into a chiropractic center throughout the street, he said.
The chauffeur then ran away the scene on foot and was captured and arrested a brief distance far from the scene on charges of DUI and hit-and-run, Ganzhorn stated.
The driver suffered minor injuries, Ganzhorn stated. While he does not know the full degree of the damage to the structure, he said it is fairly extensive.Source: wlns.com
